Petrichor means the distinctive earthy scent which accompanies the first rain after a long warm dry spell.

With the launch of Petrichor Earth, we want to make a positive impact on our planet and the people, by inspiring everyone to make positive consumer choices.

We are committed to changing the status quo, redefining luxury, and reforming traditional cotton textile industry techniques in order to offer chemical-free, pure, deliciously soft, and organic items that go well with modern lifestyle. Additionally, everything was created with love for the Earth and her people.

Since the beginning, Petrichor Earth has been committed to ethically made, fair wages, the prohibition of child labour, workers' rights, gender equality, and the community of growers.

We are proud to support the largely rural and small town-based handicraft communities that carry on this legacy, including women artisans working from their own homes. No machine can replicate their skillful craftsmanship or the artistic appeal of their work. We strive to sustain the livelihoods and deep-rooted pride of these communities, and offer consumers a connection to the timeless beauty of Indian textiles
